Description of Patagonia Wind Shield Jacket - Women's
For the hardcore winter cyclist or runner, who requires a durable soft shell that is windproof, warm and provides full-stretch performance.
A run to Sky Pond, in Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park, requires 4.6 uphill miles starting at 9,000 feet above sea level. Eat a hearty breakfast, wear a Wind Shield Jacket, and you’ll be good to go. The stretchy polyester panels on the front torso, front arms and neck have a polyurethane film for wind protection, grid-patterned fleece backing for breathability, and a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish for shedding light precipitation. Polartec® Power Dry® polyester and spandex fabric on the back of the torso, under arms and inside neck is breathable, wicks moisture, and allows for freedom of movement. Flat seams reduce chafing. With zippered chest pockets for storage and venting and a left-bicep pocket with a cord pass-through to hold an MP3 player. Reflective logo on chest.
