Art Eggertsen was living in Utah’s famous ski resort of Snowbird working as a natural foods chef and snowboarding regularly when he found himself in need of better nutrition to fuel his long days on the slopes. He needed long lasting energy and a healthy alternative to the standard fare of cheeseburgers, fries and soda. A nutrition advocate for years and known to many as “The Food Coach”, Art set out to design his own high performance energy bar.
