Description of Line Afterbang Skis
We slide across pavement, steel and wood. We jib benches, grind concrete ledges, and air over stairs & fences, air 70’ gaps to solid ice landings. The more gnarly the terrain, the more risky the trick, the more satisfaction we get when stomping it. When we slam, we slam hard, but when we get back up off the stairs, the snow, the road, we try again, with only more determination. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. This is the mindset that fuels the progression of our sport and for us here at Line, the progression of our most innovative freestyle skis.
Skateboarding, the greatest influence on this style of riding has just become the greatest influence on this ski construction. We threw away the core, the topsheet and the sidewalls, and replaced it all with a 7-ply Rock Maple veneer SKATE DECK™ construction that runs edge to edge, tip to tail. Just like a skateboard deck, the Rock Maple veneers provide uncompromised strength and resistance to shock throughout the entire ski like no other ski in the world.
